Our Story
You can't make everyone happy.
You're not a taco.
We are Tod and Jenny Herman, currently living in Crivitz since retiring from the construction industry in 2022. Prior to retiring we spent a lot of time in the area. We had a weekend home here, and some of our family has been in the area for more than 40 years. Tod has always enjoyed making tacos and homemade salsa, which became a fan favorite among family and friends! We wanted to bring these to the Crivitz community in the form of a small taco and burrito shop. We are excited to start this next chapter in our story!
Our building
Our building was originally built in 1924 (over 100 years ago-taco 'bout old!) to house the first gas station in the village of Crivitz. It was called the Brown Bear Service Station. We picked the name Taco Station as a nod to the gas station.
